Exciting times & new beginnings...
We have not yet launched but I thought I would write our first diary post now!The Great British Food Hub has come about by the withdrawal from the UK of "The Food Assembly" a French website which has been used by many of the Hubs and Producers here for the last four years.
Saddened by this loss of the communities we had built up we farmers & producers began researching alternative online platforms and on finding none suitable we rolled up our sleeves and decided to develop our own!
With a timescale of just 10 weeks to achieve this it is only the dedication and determination of a fantastic team at Owebest IT Solutions that is making this possible. Thanks to Sam, Bharat and their team we are on schedule to launch at the beginning of October and are so excited to bring you our new website packed with amazing LOCAL food & drink from passionate producers.
